sysconfig -ca

sysconfig -ca

Just run this command and it will give you part number of all the PCI adapters installed as well checks if they are in appropriate slot.

Here’s the sample output.

Filer> sysconfig -ca
sysconfig: slot 1 OK: X1131A: QLogic ISP 2532; Dual Ported 2532 FCP Adapter (PCIe)
sysconfig: slot 2 OK: X1132A: QLogic ISP 2532; PCI-E quad-port Fibre Channel (QLE2564)
sysconfig: slot 3 OK: X2065A: PMC PM8001; PCI-E quad-port SAS (PM8003)
sysconfig: slot 4 OK: X2054A: QLogic ISP 2432; PCI-E quad-port Fibre Channel (QLE2464)
sysconfig: System configuration meets block protocol requirements.
sysconfig: There are no configuration errors.

fcadmin config = shows adapter mode – initiator / target

fcp show adapters = Displays information about target adapters on the storage system.

lun config_check [-S] [-s|-v] = Performs several checks on the lun/igroup/fcp configuration of the storage system.
